Refining how prompts flow through the platform

Tightening the footprint of prompt data and improving transparency across the platform.

What changed under the hood

We reduced the retention of raw request content in our operational logs. The logs now keep aggregate counters and the request outcome, but not the request body itself. Operational engineers can still diagnose incidents using counters and error codes, but the prompts themselves are no longer retained for inspection.

We also updated the privacy policy to describe the new retention behavior in plain language. The legal text is now closer to what the engineering team is actually doing.

What stays the same

The product surface and the user experience are unchanged. The privacy work is invisible to most users, which is exactly the point. You should not have to think about whether the tool is doing the right thing with your briefs.

Abuse prevention is still active. Per-IP rate limits and failure counters continue to operate. The privacy improvements do not weaken the platform's ability to handle abusive traffic.

Long-form product updates, releases, and platform changes.
